SETTING

Online + Classroom Skills Session

• Combines the flexibility of online training with instructor-led skills session
• Start taking your online portion immediately
• Convenient locations and times for in-person skills check with experienced instructors

DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies for adults, children, and infants. This course teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.

LENGTH

Online: approximately 2-3 hours (varies)
In Person: 2 hours, 15 minutes

INTENDED AUDIENCE

Family and/or groups of friends that want to learn together in the comfort of their own home, or in our private space. 

Limited to 6 participants.  $60 for each partcipant beyond 6.

Classes limited to a15 mile radius from an instructor. An additonal travel charge may apply.

PREREQUISITES

None.

REQUIREMENTS

Participants must:

• Successfully complete the online session, including each lesson and assessments.
• Attend the in-person skills session and actively participate in all course activities, including assuming various roles during skill practices and assessment scenarios.
• Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
• Successfully complete all assessment scenarios.

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion, participants will be issued a digital certificate by email that is valid for 2 years.
