DESCRIPTION

The Red Cross Until Help Arrives course is an online course designed to equip students with the basic knowledge to assist trained responders during a life-threatening emergency. This non-certification* course provides the general public with the basic, yet critical key actions that can be taken during a life-threatening emergency that can help sustain or save a life until EMS arrives.In this course you will learn:

• Compression-Only CPR (no breaths)
• AED Education
• Choking Education
• Bleeding (Administering direct pressure and tourniquet)
• Opioid Overdose (Administering naloxone)

*NOTE: If certification is required to meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification or other regulatory requirements, it is recommended you enroll in an Instructor Led or Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED course.

Participants must:

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion, participants will be issued a digital certificate by email from the American Red Cross that is valid for 2 years.
